What is a Commercial EPC?
Similar to Domestic EPCs, a commercial (or non-domestic) EPC provides a rating based on how energy efficient a property is. The rating goes from A to G, with A being the most efficient.
This energy certificate can only be awarded by an accredited company, to ensure total accuracy of the rating available to potential tenants. The reason for this is in case, for whatever reason, your property does not meet energy efficient standards – in which case it will need to be improved based on the findings, and then re-assessed before a tenant can start trading from the buildings.
